Summary: Works with the Chief Credit Officer in managing the Bank’s problem credits both as Primary and Advisory Officer, through timely advisement to the business units on or direct development and execution of the most appropriate action plans for rehabilitation of certain workout credits, or maximizing the recovery by liquidation of assets or collateral, collection under guarantees, litigation, and post charge-off recovery efforts. Manages loan collector.
Minimum/Essential Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
A minimum of 5 to 10 years special assets experience
Experience and high level of success on strategies for disposing of REO and NPAs while yielding the highest return for the Bank
Demonstrated sound background in all aspects of commercial, real estate and consumer lending; particularly credit structure and loan policy
Ability to analyze credit and develop and negotiate repayment terms with companies and individuals
Experience with complex credits and strong knowledge of collateral valuation/liquidation
Knowledge of legal aspects of loan documentation and ability to interact with internal, external, and borrower's counsel
Experience in property management
Experience working with condominium boards or knowledge of condominium association board responsibilities
PC proficient with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of time
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
